Dr. Steven Knapp
President
Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh

Steven Knapp is president of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, which comprises the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, Carnegie Science Center, and The Andy Warhol Museum. 


Dr. Knapp is president emeritus of the George Washington University and previously served as a dean and provost at the Johns Hopkins University after teaching English literary at the University of California, Berkeley.   


He earned bachelor’s and graduate degrees from Yale and Cornell Universities, respectively.
