Sean Tully
Director of Systems Engineering for Commercial & Civil Space

Sean Tully is the Director of Systems Engineering for Civil and Commercial Spacecraft within the Tactical Space Systems division for Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems sector, a premier provider of space solutions for Science Research, Logistics and Human Exploration missions.  In this role, Sean leads a talented and diverse group of engineers to push the boundaries of spacecraft design and increase the capabilities of our civil and commercial customers.

 

Previously, Sean was the Chief Engineer of the Cygnus spacecraft supporting Commercial Resupply Services and the Deputy Chief Engineer of the Habitation and Logistics Outpost for the Human Explorations and Operations operating unit within the Tactical Space Systems Division of Northrop Grumman Space Systems. In these roles, Sean was responsible for the technical supervision of the development, production and operation of the Cygnus spacecraft and HALO product lines.

 

Sean holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in systems engineering from George Washington University.
